We went to Sydney University for a visit. The University of Sydney is one of  the major attraction when you visit Sydney. Inaugurated in 1850, it is Australia’s oldest university, with some extraordinary early buildings that were modelled on the architecture of Cambridge and Oxford. Interesting…!!

The scenery here on top of the mountain was so beautiful and not to forget, the temperature  is a bit chilled as well on that day. Here are some of the photo’s that i took during the visit. Cheers!

Last week on 1st of May, I went to High Commission of Malaysia in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory to do a passport for my baby. I went there with my wife and a friend of mine with his family. We flew from Brisbane and rent a car in Canberra so that we could visit interesting places here in capital city of Australia. It was freaking cold for me when we arrived at the airport around 7am. It was 1 celcius and started to get warmer and warmer when it reach afternoon. The sceneries around Canberra was so beautiful with heaps of maple leaves turn into red and yellow due to autumn season. Here are a few photo’s taken by me..enjoy!

Family Photo Outing

•April 25, 2009 • 1 Comment

Hi people! How’s going mate’? Heheehehe..Today is a national public holiday for Australia and New Zealand, and is commemorated by both countries on 25 April every year to honour members of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) who fought at Gallipoli at Turkey during World War 1 and also to commemorate the soldiers who fought in France and Belgium. I took this public holiday opportunity to organize a family photo shoot with my friends. I decided to take the photo at the Great Court, University of Queensland. The green grass plus the building surrounding the court gives more impact to the photos.

These photos are taken using my new camera Nikon D300 with 18-200mm VR lens.

Hi folks.. early March this year i’ve attended one day photo course organized by Akademi Photovideo (http://www.akademiphotovideo.com/) here in Brisbane. The course had offerred dslr dummies like me how to use the camera shooting mode correctly plus heaps of useful tip (WB, composition, etc). After having 3 hours of theoretical session, we were given the opportunity to test our knowledge and skills in practical session. It was really fun for me as i dont really understand how my camera properly work before this..Why? because I was so damn lazy to read the manual book. Damn again! Thanks to Abg Eddie for the valuable tips. Still learning…(need to learn Photoshop with Faliq a.s.a.p) heheheee…

We departed from Seaworld Resort around 9 am in the morning if i’m not mistaken. The journey took about 45 minutes heading to Pacific Ocean. Thanks to the good weather on that day. I managed to see and snap the photos of group of whales swimming nearby our small vessel. What an experienced! It’s only can be seen during June to October. Before that, these amazing creatures migrates north to warmer waters to mate and give birth, where as later in the season this gigantic creatures return south with their newborn calves.
